In south Berguedà on the east side of the Llobregat river, runs a stream usually quite crowded and surrounded by campsites, rural houses and other tourist establishments. Obviously, we are referring to Riera de Merlès. However, to the west of the Llobregat - although in the Cardener valley - there is also a beautiful stream that runs for many kilometers through Berguedà until it finally enters Bages to join the Cardener river. Totally unknown, with numerous pools, some reservoirs and plenty of places of extraordinary beauty, the Riera de Navel remains completely ignored in tourism, partly perhaps because of the shortage of communications, partly also by the orography and perhaps also by the lack of important cores around it.
