Thinking about a family route linked to the mining world, is thinking about a route to Sant Corneli, an old mining colony belonging to Cercs.
Built at the beginning of the 20th Century, it has both the typical structure of a mining village and the usual constructions, with the canteen, the economics ... And what still attracts most children: the Cercs Mine Museum which includes a magnificent excursion with a small train inside a mine. And it is from the Museum that begins this short route of only 6.76 km (albeit with a slight slope: 200 meters of altitude altitude), which will allow children to discover what were some ancient laundries of the beginning of the last century - often until and all away from the village. Or discover the charm of a small village such as Fígols, of a dozen houses grouped around the church. All in all, due to the landscapes that are often deserted due to the old mining operations, which are now closed.
