If we are lucky enough to walk through the Catalan Pre-Pyrenees, we will discover a delightful landscape of mountains and valleys, full of pines, oaks and oaks where mushrooms, plants and flowers with aromas and unique properties grow.
Along these paths, until recently, the silhouettes of two women walking together could be discovered bringing home their wisdom and remedies to cure their neighbors' ills. They were the "trementinaires", brave women who knew how to make their talents their livelihood. They are no longer on the road now, but the generous nature is still present to offer their help.
In the region of Berguedà there is a delicious corner that maintains and revives this valuable knowledge. It is the Garden of Bauma.
Bauma Garden organizes workshops and activities during the spring and summer months to learn about the healing properties of plants, prepare remedies with oils and ointments.
