Antiga Farmàcia Homs

The Antiga Farmàcia Homs is a 19th-century pharmacy preserved in its original location in Gironella, retaining the same appearance it had when Miquel Homs i Quer, a pharmacist from Cardona, founded it in 1877.

 

Entering the Antiga Farmàcia Homs is like stepping back in time and discovering what a pharmacy was like 150 years ago, exploring the pharmaceutical world of that period and enjoying a unique experience. In Catalonia, it is the only pharmacy from that period that has been preserved in its original location and is open to visitors.

 

Visits are guided and must be booked in advance.
